I've struggled to find a mainstream rock station that I like here, so I usually end up listening to country music on the radio when I drive--which I love, by the way, all you country music haters out there.... There are MANY country stations here in Texas. Go figure. Anyway, sometimes the sappiness starts to irk so lately I've been listening to some old musical soundtracks.

There's nothing like hearing your two-year-old shout:

"To life, to life, l'chaim! L'chaim, l'chaim to life!" or "Motzel tov!"

Let this be a lesson to all of you who think your children aren't paying attention to the lyrics of the songs playing on your car radio.

I'm going to tell Elizabeth to stop listening to so much Justin Timberlake (pfffft!)

YOUR HOUSE IS GORGEOUS! Do you and Chad feel like the King and Queen of the universe?

Don't worry. I just made a mix of all the country songs we loved when I was in 8th grade (thanks Ryan Dunn I guess). I will get it to you (don't tell Matt).--Jamie

My kids both know all the lyrics on the radio. I realized it was a big problem when Evan could sing most of Maroon Five's Wake up Call. Yikes! It's so hard to find music that is both appropriate and not annoying!!!

Don't worry-Annie is still friends with me. Secretly, I think she is a closet listener.

Does this mean that you are going to start wearing big hair and a fresh coat of lipstick each time you step outside your door?

That's awesome. You might want to wait a bit before introducing her to "Chicago" though.
