-1 tube of toothpaste squeezed out into my bathroom sink
-1 lipstick rolled all the way up and then smashed by the lid
-a kitchen chair pulled up to the sink so that the girls could wash their own hands without Chad having to get up
-a bowl in the sink filled with green dish soap
-my face towel from my bathroom bleached of color and smelling strangely like cleaning products... I have a feeling Chad didn't do any cleaning.
-the dishwasher with the green "clean" light still on from when I loaded and ran it Thursday afternoon
-smashed tortilla chips all over the kitchen floor
-3 days worth of 3 people's breakfast and snack dishes (all other meals were eaten elsewhere)
-Avery in a dress that should probably be referred to as a shirt due to its shortness, that apparently she wore to church
-lots of bedhead and unbathed children
Hmmm. Chad definitely gets credit for watching Rylee and Avery for 3 days, but definitely not any bonus points.
Monday I was at a birthday party with my kids and talking to a friend telling her where I'd gone for the weekend:
"Oh! That explains it!" She said. "We sat behind Chad and your girls at church and I told my husband you must be really sick in bed or something and didn't see the girls before church..."

hahahaha. at least they're still alive.
i'm still laughing out loud. i hope i'm hitting the right keys here. that reminds me of when my mom would go out of town for a few days and we'd realize just how well-intending but clueless our dad was. lots of pizza hut. when we were old enough, lots of last minute frantic cleaning. those were good times, though, with just the old man and his posterity. hope you had fun in SD, wasn't the weather dreamy!?!
ha! That is hilarious. Thank heavens for moms.
That's hilarious...and so classic!
Once Chris's mom came to clean my house for Chris before I got back. That is pretty bad.
Oh that's funny. I often wonder what our house would look like if Zak was in charge. Hmmm...
so funny! hey - at least he let you go...
i think b always does the last minute mad dash cleaning spree... oh how i would like to surprise him by coming home early just once... to see what it REALLY looks like!
nevermind. no i wouldn't.
Oh that is hilarious. Love it.
