A few months ago I bought a Jasmere coupon for a printing of my blog on Blurb. I figured since it's pretty much been my journal since 2006 I might as well have a hard copy. I'm sure my children will someday enjoy reading about all their tantrums and how messy my house always was. While I was putting it together (which took like 2 months by the way) it was fun to re-read all my old posts, but especially all of the comments from you guys.
And I just want to say thank you. Thank you for laughing with me when I wore that green polka-dot dress to that cocktail party, and for freaking out with me when that strange man entered my car while I was nursing Izzy in the backseat, and for being so understanding about my aversion to housework, and for listening to me vent about potty training and all things involving three children three and under.
It's been almost six years now since I started my blog and I know none of us post as much as we used to. Our kids are older and we have more places to be and things to do than we used to when we just sat around holding babies all day (that's a joke. Kind of). But I like to think that even though we don't have as much contact and interaction as we used to that we're all still as close, and that you could call me or I could call you and it would be as if nothing has changed over the years.
So here is my sappy post now that my blog book is done and me telling you how much your comments have meant to me over the last few years. Thanks for keeping me sane. And I'll try to post more :).

aww. all my love kate! and that is why i love blogs - i feel like i get to stay friends with my long lost friends, and be involved in their lives.
and guess what i found the other day? the NOTEBOOK. from high school. you know the one - me, you, Amanda, and pages full of ridiculous boy crazy banter. i'm saving it for the FUN day when we can all get together and read it. :)
Hey lady Katie- well I have to admit that your blog has been one of my favorites to read- so entertaining and good writing too( I believe you could write a novel). I appreciate that you acknowledged that we are in stages of our life that makes blog posting less frequent- I feel guilty a lot about neglecting our family blog so much and wonder how dome of my friends find time to keep up their blog so frequently. Anyways, I have a question for you about Texas and am asking you on Facebook, so stay tuned!
