I decided it was time for a tea party. I have such fond memories of attending my Grandma Calder's tea parties for all the girl cousins that I decided to get the tradition going for a new generation. Grandma Calder (Nana) and my mom were good sports to come dressed up and ready for the party, complete with swaddled baby dolls. Rylee and Avery had a great time dressing up, making and serving pretend food to the guests, and then eating heart-shaped egg salad sandwiches (courtesy of Nana, of course), sugar cookies, and drinking chocolate milk out of tea cups. I wish we had a tea party every morning.
