Pretend it's August 23rd, my anniversary.... I meant to do a Memory Lane post on that day, but had no pictures to back it up. But I found some, thanks to my mother-in-law's camera skills, on some CDs I forgot I had. So, following in the footsteps of friends before me, here is Chad and I's anniversary in numbers:

• 1 bottle of SPF 50 sunscreen and an admission to liking country music kept us from initially liking each other 
• 1 1/2 years of close friendship before the first date
• 2 month engagement
• 6 (more like 6 1/2 now) years of marriage
• 1 bedroom apartment, 2 bedroom apartment, 3 bedroom townhome, 4 bedroom rental home,  5 different addresses and counting...
• 4 years of dental school
• 2 drives cross-country plus 19 flights between Baltimore and California 
• 3 daughters, 2 epidural-free and 1 in pain-free bliss
• 1 missed labor and birth of a child by Chad
•  3 trips to the emergency room (trips before marriage: 0)
• 12 odd jobs 
• 2 happy people in love
