I'm going to use numbers instead of bullets today, so there!

1. I got a rug! I bought the floor sample so it was 50% off, which I've decided should allow me to get the other one I wanted for the family room that is now on sale. Like a twofer. It's only fair since it would technically cost the same, if not less, if I had bought the first one at full price.

2. I'm really getting into this whole neighbor thing. It's like having roommates again: "What are you cooking for dinner?" "Ugh, I don't know, what about you." "I'm ordering pizza, do you guys want to come over?" Or, "My kids are driving me crazy, can you please send yours down to come entertain mine?" Oh, and they give me all their reject decorating stuff, which has actually been pretty cute. I got a fabulous mirror that had never been hung because it was the wrong size, but the cost to ship it back wasn't worth it.  Here are the girls with some neighbors on Halloween, see I did post a Halloween picture! Avery had a dog costume that was cuter, but she, of course, opted for princess attire at the last second.

3. My sister Jamie is engaged! Another wedding! I haven't seen the ring in person yet, but rumor has it it's around 2 karats... I guess the longer you wait to get married the bigger the ring :) Just kidding, James.

4. Chad's giving his notice at the clinic he works at. His new office is scheduled to open December 1st. With no patients. We're really hoping that the clinic will let him keep 1 day a week so we won't starve as we get started, but most likely they won't. Here's his website for the new practice, it's not done yet and I'm aware of the typos. I'm so excited to get this start up over with! I just wish the economy were better. And I wish that Invisalign course didn't cost $2000....

Yea! A new post! One with pictures! :)
A neighborhood with real neighbors, who speak English and have children. What must that be like?

You finally bought a rug and didn't post a picture of it? What? And just to be clear, your neighbors aren't replacing your old roommates, they're just LIKE roommates, correct?

Hooray for new rugs. I'm loving your logic about the twofer by the way. Completely logical.

And I think Izzy is about the cutest bee I've ever seen!

oh DUH!! Matt Nelson!! I thought it looked like him, but you said just kidding James - I was thinking his name was James. Guess you were talking to Jamie. Wow Poway through and through. That is awesome. And my husband thinks he fixed the problem - try checking out site again...

I'm jealous about the whole neighbors as roommates thing!! It sounds like you live in a great place. I hope the practice goes well, I'll have my fingers crossed for you.

I love the bee costume. I did not know that you had another sister, are there more? That's exciting to be starting a new practice, you will have to keep us posted on how everything goes. Maybe you should go private, that is kind of creepy for anyone to look at a single blog for that long of a time.
