My First Summer Read

Honestly, does it get any better than this? I read it for the first time when I was a freshman in high school and then read it every summer thereafter for a few years. If it's been awhile since you read it, you must read it again.

I don't know what all the fuss is about The Great American Novel--clearly, it's already been written. After all, GWTW is the best selling book in the world, second only to the Bible. That's gotta say something, right?

I read it on your recommendation a couple of years ago and LOVED it. Just suggested it to my friend who now can't put it down. Maybe it's time for me to revisit it too.

me and my best friend in college used to go around quoting Mammy constantly. "it just ain't fitten' it just ain't fitten'" she is the best. in fact - i have a Mammy magnet prominently displayed on my fridge.

Sadly, I still have not read this. Looks like it's going to be the summer of Gone with the Wind.
