There is a series by Emily Giffin - the first one is Something Borrowed and then the second is Something Blue. she has a few other books that are good too. so fun. i loved them.
I'm also reading the Shopoholic series right now. pretty silly. but also a fun read. by Sohpie Kinsella. so far the third one has been my favorite.
and if you want some sort of raunchy, juicy, soap opera type historical fiction - try The Other Boleyn Girl and surrounding series by Philipa Gregory.
Or have you read the Josephine Bonaparte trilogy by Sandra Gullander? Elizabeth has either already commanded you to read it or you've already read it. They're quite captivating, though. If it's possible, even moreso than bloodsuckers and non bloodsuckers in love.
I just read Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell, and it was really good, very similar to Jane Austen. But you should know, it doesn't have an ending...the author died before finishing it. But you kind of know what happens anyway, I still loved it.

I love The Hunger Games by Collins. It was an entertaining, fast read with love interests and some action.
I really liked Book Thief.
Promise me you'll read Shadow of the Wind
A series called The Mortal Instruments...juvenile through and through, but who has time for "real" literature anyway?
