Black Friday. I'm home. No baby. No room in the hospital. Apparently every woman in southern California decided to have her baby today. The hospital went into "bypass" mode--emergencies only. Problem is, they would never come out and say it until 6:30 pm--instead they kept putting us off and having us call every few hours. At one point, they even had us show up only to be told upon arrival that in the 15 minutes since we had spoken on the phone 2 more women in labor had shown up and we would have to get bumped. We'll try again tomorrow. Supposedly we'll have priority... I guess this gives us more time to argue about names...
