I've wanted to blog, but what could I say? That
-I baked a batch of Snickerdoodles yesterday and ate 7 of them in 15 minutes and then was sick the rest of the day?
-Izzy's legs are still quite bowed
-I still own no furniture and an am [not] waiting patiently for Chad's practice to get off the ground
-picking out commercial grade carpet for a dental office is really, really hard
-I still look disheveled most days
-Avery still poops in her underwear. Although she stopped for our month long vacation. I have a feeling she has quite a bit of control over this situation.
-Chad still golfs. A lot.
-School has started again, so I'm back to hearing about God living in our hearts from Rylee
-Sunbeam teacher is the best calling ever. A few weeks back our lesson was on "I am thankful fo food and clothing." We wore dress up and ate fishy crackers.
-I was forced to start my own book club after only finding daytime book clubs. How can those even exist? I hope it works out.
-Sadly, I've never told you about my brother's mission call: Rancagua, Chile! October 15th!
-My parents, Jamie, and Jacob are coming for Thanksgiving this year! And Chad thought we were never going to use that china we registered for when we got married...
-Children still whine at me 24/7 and I really need to work on my parenting skills, but I'm so tired!
-90% of my fashion faux pas would be solved if I owned a full-length mirror

And when I have more fascinating facts about myself and those around me, I shall post again.

Mmm, snickerdoodles... maybe I'll have to make some today. And I so agree about the stupid commercial grade carpets.

i don't own a full length mirror, either! and it drives me nuts!! i have to stand up on top of the bed or the toilet in order to get a weird view of my shoes and bottom quarter. so annoying.

I think the world might be ending. Your family is visiting you for Thanksgiving... my parents are visiting me for Thanksgiving... Audra will be in Irvine... I didn't think it was allowed for Calder's to travel during holidays! :) I am quite excited to use pretty dishes too.

Snickerdoodles, eh? Ha ha! I remember you and Jennifer Melby doing that with sugar cookies. By the way, I am so sorry about the underwear pooping. This is the reason I haven't potty trained Skylar yet. She is perfectly content to pee in the potty but does not want to poop there at all, and I just won't clean out underwear for months at a time. I may try again soon because I'd love for the potty training to be done before baby #3 comes. By the way, even if you can't buy the furniture yet, I'd recommend the full length mirror. While I'd say that I don't know how any woman can survive without one, I think I'd be much better off without one during pregnancy.

You'll always have your book club to help you feel sane again.

thrift stores ALWAYS have lots of full length mirrors for under $10 if you are serious about getting one.

also don't worry. matt brought me 8 of Rachel's black bottom cupcakes (sooo delicious) and he had her bake him one extra one in a dixie cup because he knew i wouldn't let him have any!

also, i can't wait til Thanksgiving and to use your china!!!

That was all very blog-worthy. And student housing didn't give us a dishwasher or a disposal, but they provided a full length mirror. Go figure!

Katie I love your posts. They always make me smile. Can I just tell you I made some chocolate chip cookies on Saturday to give to a girl that taught a lesson in RS. Wouldn't you know that I forgot them and guess who ate her fair share yesterday and for some strange reason last night my stomach hurt.
