I haven't felt like posting lately. Maybe that crazy person took all the fun out of it....

But, for the sake of not seeing pictures of Chad's office anymore, here's what we've been up to:
Chad - replacing the fuses in all our Christmas inflatables. Apparently when you have so many going at once, they burn out... Well, I'm not sure if that's true, but that Santa on the roof goes through a new fuse just about every other day.

Katie - swallowing my pride and reading the Twilight Saga. Started Sunday afternoon, finished Thursday by 9:20. My children will start wearing clothes again now instead of pajamas, and probable get their hair combed. I'm sorry I've betrayed you Annie. I saw the movie with my family when they were here for Thanksgiving, and I'm sorry, but that Rob Pattinson guy is HOT in that movie and I just needed a little more of that. I think he started to lose his luster for me by the end of book 3. Now I'll just have to watch the movie trailer over and over again and hang out on all the fan websites. JUST KIDDING! I'll leave that up to you, Darice. Just kidding again. But, while I'm talking about this since I've missed all the discussions in the past by refusing to read these books, just out of curiosity, how could anyone be on "Team Jacob"? I don't get it. Bella wasn't that annoying until she started hanging out with him. Then everything started going downhill.

Rylee - making all the cans and bear-shaped jars of honey in my pantry talk to each other. Which, in turn, destroys any type of order I attempted to create when I put my groceries away. Nothing is where it should be, and giant bottles of BBQ sauce get knocked over and broken when the honey bears have a heated exchange.

Avery - driving us nuts with her... i can't even think of a way to describe it. My brother-in-law Daniel once said, "She can be sweeter than sugar when she wants to be, and then...." you fill in the blank. I am at my wit's end with her. She's like impenetrable. when i'm disciplining her, she doesn't even pay attention, she turns her head and continues to make her toys talk, or whatever she's doing. when i carry her up to time out in her room, she screams about how i'm hurting her and killing her. nice.

Izzy - testing my patience with waking up at 5:15 everyday. i will win this one. she's my third. i know better. she's learnings lots of words though, so that's good. and holding her own against the 2 older ones. which adds to the noise level in our house a lot. i'm counting down for the day they're all in school.

haha!! and by the way, I'm on team Jacob because at least he's not some 100 year old pervert going after a 17 year old girl!! And he didn't baby bella, he let her be her own person!!! But I think she's too obnoxious for Jacob anyways, I'll take him!!:)

I have nothing to say about your Twilight obsession-I choose to ignore it....

But Rylee making the cans talk??-awesome!! You should have a hidden camera in your pantry. I'd be interested to to hear what they are saying.

oh, i am not obsessed with twilight, i just decided to finally read them. i'm surprised you don't like them beth, you're so into juvenile fiction...

I read #1 because I was curious.
I read #2 because it was left at my house by my SIL and had been just sitting there for 2 months and it was the closest thing within reaching distance that particular day before heading into the restroom.
I read #3 because it was given to me.
I did not read #4 and will never read #4. Why? Because I just don't care about these one dimensional, flat characters that's why. And the writing's horrible to boot. The end.

P.S. - we can still be friends, though.

Like Avery, Maddie also likes to yell that "I'm hurtung her" everytime I pick her up to go to time out. It's even more fun when she does it here at the in-laws house...

I do love juvenile/teen fiction, but I also like character development and plot-two things the Twilight books severely lack.

Do you even read my blog? :)

I love the updates on the girls. I think my Savannah is going to be somewhat like your Avery. She's already giving me a run for my money. I'm still refusing to read Twilight, although I don't know why, because everyone that reads them loves them!

that's why i refused to read them too. the fans are so obsessive it's annoying.

Katie, where are your Christmas pictures????

Okay, if you were about 15 years younger the fans would not be so annoying. Just admit it, if you were a tween you would have been yelling in the theater when Edward made his appearance. Hee hee

Avery sounds a lot like Ella. So, I have no advice to give.

Way to stir up the controversy! I love it. (maybe we should keep Sharon Kay under wraps . . . )

I totally agree with the team Jacob being weird - and I think it is even grosser that Jacob falls in love with Bella's baby! Eww! I agree that the writing is bad, but it was a fun easy read that kept me entertained.
