Give and Take

Three things I'm depressed about:
1. I think I caught Avery's green, goopy, eye disease
2. I seem to have lost 90% of my blog readers through privatization and have no idea how to reclaim them
3. I really want to buy the black frames for my photo wall because they are on sale at Aaron Brother's right now, but know I can't afford to until Chad's practice starts producing more
4. I know I said three, but it's hard to stop. 99% of the furniture I own is the same stuff we had in dental school. Is this the same for anyone else? Or are we just pathetic?

okay, I'd better switch to the positive now.

Three things I'm happy about:
1. I can use Avery's prescription eye drops before my eyes ever get too bad
2. My cold from hell FINALLY seems to be abating. Good thing I spent an hour yesterday googling the differences between colds, sinus infections and pneumonia.
3. None of my children seem to have caught my cold.
4. I thought I should add an extra since I added an extra depressing one. I own 3 RUGS that I didn't own in dental school.

We've never been in dental school but yes, we still own more "hand-me-down" furniture than anything we've bought ourselves.
We need to get together soon! We miss you guys...I know is US not you! :)

All of our furniture is from IKEA-does that count?

I still have furniture from dental school too. Does that make you feel better?

We have furniture from dental school still and if it makes you feel better, they were hand-me-downs before that. We refer to them as the Indian Pow-Wow couches of death.

is the salvation army better or worse than ikea?

We too have dental school furniture still and in some rooms have no furniture at all. The only "new" thing we have is our bedroom furniture that was a graduation gift from Mike's parents. I actually don't care as much anymore, especially since my kids are little and seem to have a knack for destroying nice things... one day...

ps- I hope you feel better soon. Moms should not be allowed to get sick- it's just wrong!

I sympathize...We just barely bought a new bedding set because we decided our bedroom looked like a college hodgepodge. And no, we still don't have a bed frame. We still have a lot of stuff from our Law School days adn are trying to slowing switch that stuff out, but those law school loans just don't help!

if it makes you feel any better, i'm a 26 year old girl with a college degree working retail, and since retail pays peanuts i can't afford decor for my ghetto apartment to combat my roommates' ugly ugly beach bum decor.

so we can both have a pity party.

:) there. a semi-colon parenthesis smile. i'm so magnanimous.
