Dental Peeps

Just a quick question to those of you with husbands who are self-employed, e.g. dentists: how is health insurance working out for you? Does your husband's office offer a plan or have you all bought individual plans?

It seems like every six months I have some kind of health insurance crisis and I'm just curious if anyone else is having problems or it's just me and there's some health insurance secret that I don't know about... Let me know if you have any helpful advice.

We carry our own plan. I HATE it! Rates go up every year and our coverage decreaes. It makes me grouchy. Sorry I am not much help. The only trick I know is to reapply every year and see if you qualify for a lower rate. And have a good agent that can help you... good luck

kate, that's how ours has been, and now it's getting tricky because things are starting to be considered preexisting conditions...

Insurance is the one thing that makes me SO sad to leave the AF behind. We have had awesome coverage for the last 5 years.
