Do you ever just look around for a minute and think that life is good? I'm sure it will only last 30 seconds, but for right now I am pretty darn content. 

• Izzy is weaned, walking, and sleeping through the night. And most joyous of all I'm not pregnant! 
• Avery may walk around with her dress tucked into her underwear half the day, and put on a new pair once every two hours because she can't stand them damp, yet continues to make them damp, but at least she's wearing underwear. 
• Rylee may boss the world around, but at least she lets me know when Izzy is standing on the edge of her high chair tray about to fall to her death on the tile below, or grabs her in a death lock when she's about to tumble down the top of the stairs. 
• My house may not be decorated and still have the same Ikea furniture that has been moved so many times it's chipped, scratched and broken, but it's in a house that's beautiful and is mine. 
• I finally have a sister getting married which means cousins are imminent! 
• The Lakers being in the playoffs has put Chad in such a good mood he's been offering to take the kids places without me, etc. (Although after last night that could all very well end). 
• My new eye makeup is a joy to apply, though never looks quite the same as it did at my makeover. 
• The weather is hot, but between the pool and air conditioning I haven't found it bothering me one bit.
  
• Saturday I washed on my hands and knees over 400 square miles of tile floor and polished all the grimy handprints off my stainless steel appliances so now I don't have to do that for another 2 years. Right?
• The pathology report from my toenail clipping may have said "fungus indentifiable" and the medicine I'm taking to fix it may irreparably damage my liver, but at least I'm taking a medicine to fix it.

And best of all, I'm only turning 28 tomorrow instead of 30, which I had previously thought and told my friend Jill in a moment of brain-dead-mommyness.
