Hey blogger people. Is there a secret to posting videos that are longer than 30 seconds? Every time I try it uploads for hours and then never seems to finish. I can only ever get the 30 second or less ones to post. Am I supposed to do something to it beforehand? Hey, remember when I used to be considered computer-savvy back in 2001? Yeah, I can't remember that far back either.

Try uploading it to google videos first and then use the tools within google video to post to your blog. It confused me for a while too.
What's up with posting as Tricia & Keith? Are those your online names now?
oops, that's the name of my sister and her fiance, i was creating a blog for them to put wedding info on. i think it's linked to mine though. where is it showing up?
well, i guess that answers that.
katie- i haven't tried it yet, but i heard that if you go through youtube they allow longer videos than google??
Well, you're one step ahead of me...I don't know how to upload a video at all, whether it's 1 second or 10 minutes. So take this moment to feel better about yourself.
I upload my videos to Youtube and then imbed the video in my post. You Tube Allows you to post videos that are up to 10 minutes long.
Katie- They are too large because of the formating. If you have any video editing software you can change the format of the video to something smaller like a .wmv. I know a lot of cameras save videos as .mov or .avi since they are better quality. You lose a little quality converting to a .wmv but not enough to matter for a blog. I think the uploading to Youtube does a similar editing of the format. Good luck!
