Your thoughts on these rugs? #1 problem: I don't know where to look. #2 problem: I should be saving my money for when Chad's practice opens this fall. #3 problem: I get obsessive/compulsive about looking for stuff and I don't get picky and just get the first thing that I find that I like.

I really like that first one...especially if you want to stick with the blue. Then you could do a yellowy color in the room-that would be really pretty and happy :)

I like the first blue one and the green one. It's hard to say though without seeing the whole room and furniture and what not. But they are all soo cool!

My vote's for the green one. It would look great with your chocolate brown leather and is a little bit more dressed up for your living room than the others. It's neutral enough to add in touches of blue in artwork, vases, pillows, etc.

Katie when you think of color in a room it is three parts, well sort of. The main color, a secondary color, and then a splash of a third color. I like the yellow/blue one...

Something that works for me when I'm having a hard time coming up with a good color scheme: go to JoAnn's (or any good fabric store) and peruse their decorator fabric section (the really nice fabrics that are on the big bolts). Just walk around and look at different fabrics and the designs that are grouped together. Whichever ones you're drawn to- that's the color scheme you should go with. Helps to see what colors have already been put together by people who know much more about decorating than us!!

I really like the first 3 rugs. But without seeing the other stuff you have to go with it, I dunno which to tell ya. If coordinating stuff isn't an issue than just pick the color you like best.

I actually like all of them, but the last one is awesome! I think that would look great with dark wood. But, that's just me. I think they all give me that fresh feeling you are going for though.
